Motivational Monday: January 1st

Welcome back to another week of Motivational Monday. We figured everyone would be busy for the holidays so we took a few weeks off, maybe you noticed or maybe you didn't. Either way, today we are back and ready to party! Now that Christmas is over, I am excited to see all the fresh new ideas you all have!

Motivational Monday: December 14th

I have officially finished off my semester and have 4 weeks of vacation before school starts back up again! Bring on the DIY projects, because I am ready to craft like its my job! My husband is cruising along on my craft closet, and I am happy to say I found some baskets that I am crazy about to store all my stuff. I can't wait to share it all with you sometime after the holidays, but until then it will be full blown Christmas talk over here!

Last week, I shared with you my 2014 Christmas Home Tour, and I have to say I am so overwhelmed with all the love I have gotten from that post. I hope I was able to inspire some of you with all the red and green! I also have a week full of Christmas projects planned, so make sure to come back to see all the details of my holly berry initial, homemade stockings, and my initial wall!

Katie from Little House of Four shared with us how to make Wooden Snowflakes from Scrap Wood. This project turned out so cute, and I love the glitter! These snowflakes are perfect paired with some Christmas decor, or after Christmas when all the red and green is put away.

This cute Scrabble Tile Christmas Ornament was made by Kelly from Typically Simple. This makes me wish our last name wasn't so long, but I guess I could do this with our first names!

Motivational Monday: December 7th

I would like to start this Motivational Monday post by giving a HUGE congratulations to Amanda from Burlap and Babies on her new addition, a beautiful baby girl, Clara! I have seen a few pictures and she is such a doll.

This past week flew by! The semester is finishing up (I'll be done Tuesday!) and I am beyond excited to have some more time to get some posts organized and posted. Even on top of all my schoolwork though, I did manage to share our Wood Pallet Christmas Tree that I am in love with! Adam got some pallets from work and has been dying to use them for a project.

Both features this week are holiday themed, which I love!

Colleen from Lemon Thistle shared this darling DIY Magnetic Advent Calendar! This is probably the cutest advent calendar I've seen in a while! I love that the boxes are shaped like a Christmas tree on the fridge.

This cute Fox Holiday Wreath was made by Kim from Made In A Day! The fox she put in the wreath is so cute, and I love how the wreath matches the trees so well! This makes me really want to get started on my holiday wreath.

Kristi from Making It In The Mountains shared 3 simple ways to make a Cozy Living Room! I couldn't agree more with her, but I would add one more thing: CANDLES. Seeing her cozy living room made me want to curl up on the couch and watch a movie.

Christine shared with us her Thanksgiving Home Tour that had me swooning!
